WOW what a game we saw last night. Yours Truly Dr. Pete, Mighty Matt Malich, Danny V and A-LO saw a truly dominant performance.
From the onset of the first game there was no dought that Cary Grove had the friendship and passion to lead them all to work together to be the best they can be. Matt phrased it best with "their communcation was key." To that I truly agree. Cary Grove yelled loudly enough and communicated enough that even I would be able to set up one of their Outside Hitters (back in my prime of course).
Speaking with coach after the game, Matt brought up a solid point with how all 5 hitters are used, which is not typically seen till the collegiate level but coach Langanis empahsized this teamwork from the onset of the season.
McHenry did all they could in order to survive but fell short in their attempt, but they put forth a valiant effort admist the storm that was the "great wall of Cary" which Matt coined.
I must say I do apprecaite the nicknames we come up with!
